Two days after tying the knot, Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard and his Eagles cheerleader bride Krystle Campbell took a break from enjoying their honeymoon to take part in the bizarre ritual of
trashing their wedding dress for a photo shoot in Maui on Monday.
For those who don't know, it's become somewhat of a trend for a newlywed couple to destroy the bride's expensive wedding gown -- often at a beach or lake -- and capture it on film.
At least she can say she wore it more than once.

As consumer myself, I think that I would partake in this new ritual! I have been married before and my boyfriend has been married before, so why keep the dress that I will wear only once. I am not sure I would allow my boyfriend to do this because chanses are, he will rent his tux.
All of my other girlfriends from high school have been married for seven years or more, they have kept their wedding dress in the box and have not worn it since their magical day. Some of them had spent THOUSANDS on the dress and keep it in a cheap box so no mold/dust/dirt, etc will eat at their wedding dress.
I guess we will see if this new trend will work out for people to do. For those who do decide to keep their dress after trashing it, at least dry cleaners will be in favor for this! Anyways, best of luck to those brides and grooms! Maybe the wedding party should partake in this too because some of those dresses are just AWFUL!

Brand love/lost
I am sure we have all had a brand love/affair/breakup in our lives. At the moment in my life, I don't really have a brand love. My current flame I would say that I have is my burk sandles that I wear all the time. (I am not too fond of tennis shoes) and with a broken tib/fib from 2 summers ago, heels are out of the question! I had to do a presentation and my foot was is so much pain! I had even took my boot off and was walking with my right on and just my sock on my left!
Another brand that I do have a love is Crowne Russ vodka. I just really enjoy the taste of the vodka mixed with 7-UP/Sprite. There are a few times that I had to buy a different brand of vodka and I felt that I was cheating on my regular vodka!
As for a breakup, there are some brands that I no longer use because of funds or what not, but no break up per se. Needs have changed over the years that I used to LOVE then and not now because it was no longer meeting my needs to expectations.
